Sub-project 03

Objective: Captioning production module in French dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing public.

LIMSI, in collaboration with SYSTRAN, develops within this module neural models for the production of captioning, building on the corpora acquired and developed in sub-project 2. This sub-project uses recent advances in various automatic language processing tasks:

• Speech recognition: transcription of audiovisual programs,
• Machine translation: switching from source to target language
• Device generation and style transfer: rewording the text to fit all criteria.
