Sub-project 01

With SYSTRAN as the project coordinator, france.tv access, MOCAPLAB, LIMSI and LUTIN Userlab are involved in the development of ROSETTA. Each partner, within its area(s) of expertise, jointly carries out the sub-projects in collaboration with a group of partners and sub-contractors.

The development of the ROSETTA project responds to five research levels:

1- Data collection will be ensured mainly by the 2nd sub-project “Collect and Produce Corpora”.

2- Model training operates via

• Sub-project 3 for automated captioning production;
• Sub-project 4 for multilingual subtitling models.

3- Sub-project 5 is entirely dedicated to French Sign Language generation

4- Sub-projects 6 and 7 are dedicated to the overall assessment phase of the project:

• analyzing the quality of the  results produced, including the linguistic and qualitative evaluation;
• getting user feedback and in situ testing.

5- The last sub-project is dedicated to the development of the project results and their dissemination, from the perspective of exploitation.
