Deliverables

The project’s public deliverables present in detail the achievements and results of the collaborative work undertaken by the partners in the different axes of the project.

The various reports reveal both the evolution of the project as a whole and the progress made in each subproject, including : the collection and production of corpora, the production of captions, multilingual translation, the generation of French Sign Language, finally, the assessment of previous modules and the conduct of various focus groups and in situ tests.

The consortium members will make several reports public, depending on the progress made by the partners. This reflects the interoperability between the different bricks that make up ROSETTA and details the design of access solutions offering automatic multilingual subtitling systems, closed captioning systems and experiments with a virtual French Sign Language (LSF) signer.

The shared reports are classified by sub-project and only available in French :

The International Benchmark Report presents the practices, advances and needs of audiovisual stake holders when it comes to captioning, multilingual subtitling and sign language.

Our analysis shows that the accessibility to video contents varies greatly from one stakeholder to another. Some concerns need to be solved, like technical obstacles or lack of significant corpora, in order to automate personalized access services. Companies and beneficiaries involved in the field of video production and broadcasting will then welcome automated access services.
